Our Pops & Bangs calibration enhances your vehicle’s exhaust sound by introducing controlled crackles on overrun and during gear changes, creating a more aggressive and engaging driving experience. This software modification is calibrated to suit the engine and exhaust setup of the vehicle; however, it increases exhaust temperatures and places additional stress on engine, turbocharger, exhaust components and catalytic converters. Use of this feature is entirely at the vehicle owner’s discretion, and RCJ Tuning accepts no responsibility for damage, accelerated wear or component failure resulting from misuse or prolonged use.
Hardcut / Popcorn Limiter
Our Hardcut (Diesel Popcorn) limiter calibration alters the engine’s rev limiter behaviour to create a rapid, aggressive exhaust sound when the limiter is reached, commonly used for show, motorsport or enthusiast applications. This modification causes repeated fuel cut and ignition events at high engine speed, which can place increased stress on internal engine components and drivetrain if used excessively. Use of a Hardcut or Popcorn limiter is entirely at the vehicle owner’s discretion, and RCJ Tuning accepts no responsibility for damage or accelerated wear resulting from improper or prolonged use.
